Dubbo City Toyota, as part of its community support program, is excited to support local Dubbo cyclist, Haylee Fuller, as she takes on the European cycling scene this year.  And, we're thrilled to share her adventure with you!

Haylee started cycling at the tender age of 7, following in her racing dad's footsteps. David caught up with Haylee and their passion for cycling dominated the conversation.

"I love the challenge of every race, as no two are the same, especially road races where the courses range vastly from mountains to plains and everything in between," said Haylee. And it was clear that meeting the challenge is what Haylee excels at, with David joking about how she used to beat him at mountain biking when she was just 12-years-old!

Already successful in Australia, Haylee names winning the U19 Road Race and Criterium at the 2020 National Road Championships in Ballarat as her greatest achievementso far. A close second, winning the Points Race at the 2020 National Track Titles after taking a lap on the field.

This year, Haylee is taking a big step to make her cycling dreams come true. Travelling to Belgium to ride as a member of the IBCT Women's continental team across Europe. Currently in Spain for two weeks acclimatising and participating in a training camp, Haylee is keen to start racing. Her goal, to take her cycling career to the next level.

Throughout the year, Haylee will be keeping us up to date with her cycling and travel adventures. Stay tuned for Haylee's first travel blog in coming weeks!
