About the Opportunity
Dubbo City Toyota is expanding our team and we’re looking for a motivated and hands‑on Trainee Window Tinter to join our growing Pre-Delivery Department. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is eager to learn a specialised trade, develop new skills, and build a long-term career within a supportive and award‑winning dealership.
No prior tinting experience is required — just a great attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
What You’ll Learn & Do
As a Trainee Window Tinter, you’ll receive full training and support to learn how to:
- Prepare, measure, cut, and apply window tint film to vehicles.
- Deliver high-quality finishes free from bubbles, creases, or imperfections.
- Use a variety of tools, equipment, and techniques used in professional tinting.
- Maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Follow safety standards and best-practice tinting procedures.
- You’ll be learning from an experienced internal tint team that currently completes 70+ window tints per month, with dealership demand continuing to grow.
About You
We’re seeking someone who:
- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
- Enjoys hands‑on tasks and is keen to develop new skills.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Has good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Holds a valid driver’s licence.
- No trade qualification or prior tinting experience is necessary — we will provide all required training.

About the Role
In this hands-on, fast-paced position, you’ll balance creative content production with real-time event coordination and dealership-led activations. Working closely with our Marketing & Events Manager, you’ll collaborate with our Dubbo City Toyota, Gilgandra Toyota and Lexus of Central West teams to deliver campaigns, premium customer experiences, sponsorships, and community activations - often with exciting variety, moving parts, and real-time problem-solving.

What You’ll be Doing
Creative & Content
• Plan, capture and edit short-form video, photography and design assets for campaigns, events and internal communications.
• Own the social media calendar - plan, schedule, publish and optimise content that promotes customer events, dealership wins, staff milestones and product highlights.
• Keep our website and digital platforms up to date with fresh, accurate and engaging content.
• Produce internal content to share business updates, team highlights and events.
• Maintain organised asset libraries and ensure all content is correctly cleared, credited and brand-compliant.
• Create work that aligns seamlessly with Toyota & Lexus Masterbrand Guidelines.
Events & Coordination
• Support the delivery of dealership campaigns, premium customer events, sponsorships and community partnerships.
• Coordinate suppliers, track logistics, manage timelines and contribute to post-event reporting.
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth event execution.
• Support on-site setup, styling, pack-down and coordination during events.
Nice to Have
• Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Lightroom, Photoshop) and/or Canva.
• Understanding of social media advertising and analytics (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
• Event operations experience - bump-in/out, vendor coordination, and run-sheet management.
