What’s New?

Toyota is equipping the LandCruiser 300 Series with cutting-edge safety and multimedia technologies that enhance both convenience and security. With a variety of new comfort features, it’s set to deliver an even better driving experience for Australian customers.

Sean Hanley, Toyota Australia's Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Franchise Operations, shared, "The LandCruiser has long been known for its legendary reliability, capability, and performance. The new upgrades will make it even more attractive for families and adventurers alike, whether you're cruising through the city or tackling the toughest off-road terrains."

Enhanced Safety Features Across the Range

The refreshed LandCruiser 300 Series introduces a comprehensive suite of Toyota Safety Sense [1] active safety technologies. Now, even the entry-level GX variant will come standard with advanced features such as lane trace assist, emergency steering assist, and an emergency driving stop system — technologies previously reserved for higher trims.

For those driving the GXL and above, the addition of Toyota's safe exit assist provides an extra layer of protection when getting out of the vehicle by alerting you to approaching vehicles or cyclists from behind. The GXL also now comes with a rear parking support brake, helping avoid collisions when reversing.

Next-Gen Multimedia System

The upgraded multimedia system is another standout feature. All variants now come with the latest Toyota multimedia technology, including wireless Apple CarPlay® [3], Android Auto™ [4], and connected navigation. Depending on the variant, the system will be displayed on either an 8-inch touchscreen (GX and GXL) or a larger 12.3-inch display (for the higher variants).

Additionally, the Toyota Connected Services [5] feature has been expanded to include new functions like remote air conditioning operation, vehicle status updates, and trip information, all accessible through the myToyota Connect [6] smartphone app.

Comfort and Convenience Upgrades

Toyota hasn’t forgotten about comfort, adding new equipment to many variants. The GX grade now features power adjustment for the tilt and telescopic steering wheel, along with new front LED interior lighting and camera guidelines for easier parking.

The GXL sees upgrades with luxurious suede-like fabric upholstery, powered seat adjustments for the driver, and four-zone automatic climate control. The mid-level VX variant now includes powered adjustment for the front passenger seat, as well as a new powered tailgate for easier access to the boot.

Power and Performance

All variants of the LandCruiser 300 Series continue to be powered by the impressive 3.3-litre twin-turbocharged diesel V6 engine, producing 227kW and 700Nm of torque. This powerhouse is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and Toyota's legendary permanent all-wheel-drive system, making it an ideal companion for any off-road adventure. With 3500kg braked towing capacity [7], it’s ready for everything from towing a trailer to navigating rough terrains.

The LandCruiser 300 Series: Built for Adventure

The refreshed LandCruiser 300 Series maintains its tough TNGA-F ladder-frame architecture, ensuring strength and durability that makes it perfect for any adventure. Whether you’re embarking on a cross-country road trip or exploring remote destinations, the LandCruiser 300 is built to handle it all.

With all these exciting upgrades, the refreshed LandCruiser 300 Series is set to redefine what a 4WD can do, combining rugged capability with next-level comfort and safety. Stay tuned for more details on pricing and full specifications, which will be announced closer to its Australian arrival in 2025.
