Please Join David in Raising Funds for Macquarie Homestay Stage 2
Calling all Dubbo City and Gilgandra Toyota customers and supporters! Please make a tax deductable donation to Toyota Tour de Oroc, with all funds raised to be donated to Macquarie Homestay.
Macquarie Homestay was originally created by locals who recognised a need for affordable, quality housing for individuals and families in the Central West needing to travel to Dubbo Base Hospital for treatment. The service is immensely popular, providing comfort and stability to those needing to travel for regular hospital visits, emergencies, and everything in between.
Macquarie Homestay is currently operating at capacity, turning away our Western NSW locals on many nights, illustrating the necessity for such a service. The people of our region urgently need stage 2 of Macquarie Homestay to be built as soon as possible in order to accommodate those who depend on affordable housing while seeking medical treatment. With the new Cancer Centre soon to open at the Dubbo Hospital, the demand will rise significantly.
The Toyota Community Foundation has a long track record of creating meaningful change throughout Australian communities. By engaging at the grassroots level, each community has the opportunity to engage in a way which ensures local needs are met and supported. Dubbo City and Gilgandra Toyota and Toyota Australia have put their money where their mouth is by taking the naming rights of the Toyota Tour de Oroc and donating the use of support vehicles for the duration of the tour.
David Hayes will put his rear end and legs on the line by riding the 1146 kilometre Toyota Tour de Oroc this October to raise funds for the Macquarie Homestay. Please join us in supporting David in his efforts!
