Every year on the 12th of May, the world celebrates International Nurses Day. The celebration takes place on this date in recognition of the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.
Given the recent pandemic, Dubbo City & Gilgandra Toyota wanted to acknowledge the hard work and sacrifices our local nurses have made in recent times. We’ll be giving away a gift hamper to a local nurse in honour of the occasion, with an assortment of local treats and goodies.
To nominate a nurse, simply tag them on the pinned post on our Facebook page from May 1st. The winner will be selected by random draw and announced on May 12th. In order to win the prize, the nurse must work in the extended Dubbo or Gilgandra region.
